1. Enrolment & Acceptance
Enrolment at Emerald Life Sciences
Institute is
subject to availability and confirmation by the Institute. A learner's place is only secured
once enrolment has been confirmed and the applicable fees have been paid. Emerald Life
Sciences
Institute reserves the right to decline or discontinue enrolment if a learner's needs fall
outside the scope of the selected programme.
2. Programmes & Services
Emerald Life Sciences Institute offers
specialised Life Sciences tuition for Grades 10–12 through the following programmes: Core
Mastery Programme, Precision Support Programme, Student Rescue Programme, and Elite Academic
Mentorship. Programme content, format (online or in-person), and scheduling are determined
based
on learner needs and availability.
3. Attendance & Participation
Consistent attendance is essential for
academic
progress. Learners are expected to attend all scheduled sessions, participate actively
during
lessons, complete assigned homework, worksheets, and assessments, and prepare adequately for
tests and examinations. Repeated absences, lack of participation, or failure to complete
assigned work may negatively affect outcomes and eligibility for certain guarantees.
4. Fees & Payment
All fees are payable in advance unless
otherwise agreed in writing. Fees are non-refundable once a programme has commenced, except
as
provided under the Results Commitment clause. Missed sessions are not refundable and may not
always be rescheduled. Fees may be reviewed periodically, with reasonable notice provided to
parents or guardians.
5. Online & In-Person Tuition
For online tuition:
Learners
are responsible for a stable internet connection and suitable device. Technical issues on
the
learner's side do not constitute grounds for refunds.
For in-person tuition: Learners are expected to arrive on time and adhere
to
all venue rules and safety guidelines.
6. Assessments & Feedback
Emerald Life Sciences Institute uses
regular
assessments to monitor learner progress. These may include short tests, worksheets,
exam-style
questions, and revision assessments. Feedback is provided to support learning and
improvement
but does not replace school-based assessments or official examination results.
7. Results Commitment
Emerald Life Sciences Institute is
committed to
measurable academic improvement. Where a learner attends sessions consistently, actively
participates, completes all assigned work, and follows the recommended academic plan, and no
measurable improvement is demonstrated, the Institute may, at its discretion, offer extended
academic support or a partial or full refund, subject to review of attendance records,
assessment results, and engagement levels. This commitment does not guarantee specific marks
or
examination outcomes, as academic performance is influenced by multiple factors beyond
tuition.
8. Parent Communication
Emerald Life Sciences Institute values
transparent communication. Progress updates may be shared periodically; however, parents are
encouraged to raise concerns promptly should they arise.
9. Behaviour & Conduct
Learners are expected to behave
respectfully
during sessions. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour may result in
suspension
or termination of enrolment without refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
Emerald Life Sciences Institute provides
academic support and guidance but cannot guarantee examination results, promotion, or
university
admission. The Institute is not responsible for outcomes resulting from lack of attendance,
incomplete work, external stressors, or school-related changes or assessments.
11. Amendments
Emerald Life Sciences Institute reserves
the
right to update these Terms & Conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated with
reasonable notice.
